Santoro’s Italian Kitchen
Old-school New York Italian-American classics — wood-fired pizza, house-made pasta, and recipes passed down through generations — now on the shores of Lake Oconee.
Recipes passed down through generations
From New York to the lake — Santoro’s brings the warmth of an old-neighborhood Italian kitchen to Greensboro, Georgia.
Step inside and it feels like Little Italy: family-style booths, the smell of garlic and wood smoke, and generous plates of the classics done right. Every pasta is rolled in-house, every cheese pulled fresh, every pie kissed by the brick oven.

Save RoomThe Heart of the House: Our Brick Stone Oven
Some restaurants have a kitchen. We have a hearth. Our wood-fired brick oven roars at 900 degrees, blistering every pie in about 90 seconds and perfuming the whole dining room with oak smoke.
- 48-hour dough — slow-fermented for flavor and that perfect chew
- San Marzano tomatoes — crushed by hand, never from a jar
- House-pulled mozzarella — stretched fresh every morning
